For Denver’s 48 Hour Film Fest 2019, I was brought on as DIT and assistant editor to a production crew thrown together by a variety of great people. 48 Hours is hardly enough time to do any piece of a production in reality, but them’s the rules, so everyone’s under pressure to do a great job as fast as humanly possible. I was on set swapping hard drives and SD cards, an especially hurried DIT gig. At the same time, the other editor and I were at our computers churning out assemblies and early cut-downs of the film before they were done shooting. Check it out, it’s cheesy (and kinda gruesome), but that’s the glory of a 48-Hour horror flick.
