Started as a personal project with a friend, video essay series on a remarkable mid-century designer. An incredible regular customer at the cafe I used to work at (barista work doesn’t count to my portfolio, does it?) happened to be related to the legendary designers Charles and Ray Eames. COVID hit right when her family’s gallery had opened an entire exhibit on her Grandmother, which was obviously terrible timing. With my enlistment, we've slowly been putting together an online, Ken-Burns-style exploration of the gallery for all to enjoy, no matter how far away. Full of love from Carla and the Eames Family, and full of fun essay editing for me.
